Deadline Extended: 100 Works for Pride

If your days are anything like ours this year, they don’t seem to have the same number of hours as they used to. The weeks, too, seem to be missing days – or sometimes have extra. But! Those days and weeks are still moving forward, and so are we.

It’s been a pleasure, these last few weeks, to welcome dozens of new artworks to All of Man, including Sherman Yee’s acrylics and watercolors, Nicole Houff’s cheeky photographs of Ken, and Jordan Mejias’s watercolors. Sarah Riley’s oils and prints, with us since our soft open in March, are still selling. In addition, we’re in conversation with several more artists, whose work will be available very soon.

That said, June isn’t far – and neither is our Grand Opening! We’re still aiming to have 100 unique artworks on the site by then, and have extended our deadline for submissions to June 5th. We’re looking for original paintings, etchings, and drawings, as well as limited edition prints, photographs, and digital artworks. All of the works we sell depict, portray, or experiment with the male or male-identified figure. We are not, however, an exclusive or restrictive “club” for gay male artists. We embrace anyone who has worked or is working with these subjects. And of course, if you’re not sure – just ask.

How can we help? All of Man is the premier boutique for artworks featuring the male form. Conducted primarily online, our store offers a unique opportunity for artists who want more access to buyers across the country. Our hope now, more than ever, is that we can assist artists who’ve lost gallery showings and art fair patronage during the pandemic, and get those same artworks in front of new and enthusiastic buyers.

How can you help? If you’re an artist, get in touch and help spread the word. If you’re a buyer, or even just someone who appreciates the male form, tell your friends. The sign-up process is easy, and we aim to list 3-6 pieces from each artist. For more information on becoming an All of Man artist, get in touch with us today. The updated deadline is June 5th, so don’t delay.
